New Segment Added to April 29 WWE NXT
Things are about to get personal on WWE NXT this week.
WWE confirmed that Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo will meet face-to-face for the first time since Lorenzo’s shocking betrayal at Stand & Deliver.
“For the first time since the SHOCKING betrayal at #StandAndDeliver, @TonyDangeloWWE and @Stacks_WWE will meet each other in the middle of the ring with EVERYTHING to say THIS TUESDAY on #WWENXT!” WWE wrote on X.
The betrayal rocked NXT fans, as Stacks turned on D’Angelo during their match against Darkstate members, costing them the win. Their partnership dates back to 2022, and together they captured the NXT Tag Team Championships twice in 2023, making the split even more brutal for longtime fans.
Also announced for the show WWE NXT on April 29:
- NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints will defend his title against Lexis King
- NXT Tag Team Champions Hank Walker and Tank Ledger will defend against Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura
- Tony D’Angelo and Stacks face-to-face segment
With tensions higher than ever, fans can expect fireworks when these two former partners meet in the ring.
