Gunther Threatens Jey Uso With Brutal Warning Before WrestleMania 41
Gunther isn’t just heading into WrestleMania 41 with gold on the line—he’s coming in with fire in his veins and zero patience for Jey Uso.
During the April 14 episode of WWE RAW, the World Heavyweight Champion interrupted the planned rundown of the show and stormed to the ring unannounced. Michael Cole was clearly caught off guard, noting on commentary that Gunther wasn’t even scheduled to be there at that time.
What followed was a verbal annihilation. “Last week, Jey looked me in the eye and told me he wasn’t afraid anymore,” Gunther said. “I’m here to look everyone in their eyes and say—Jey Uso is full of crap.”
Cole tried to keep things on track, asking if Gunther was frustrated with the build to WrestleMania. That question didn’t land well. “Screw your question, screw Jey Uso and everything he stands for, and screw everyone who stands with him,” Gunther snapped.
He wasn’t done. The Ring General reminded everyone just how dominant he’s been since arriving in WWE. “Eighty percent of my time in this company, I’ve been a champion. I am the greatest World Champion of all time. And I refuse to let somebody like Jey Uso ruin that.”
Gunther’s comments then took a dark turn, referencing his brutal attack on Jey’s brother, Jimmy Uso. “People said I went too far. Let me be clear—I was in full control, and I loved it,” Gunther declared. “If I wasn’t under control, I would’ve bathed Jey in his brother’s blood.”
And he closed it out with one more dagger. “Next week, I’m going to call my mother and tell her how much I loved beating the hell out of Jey Uso and walking out still World Champion.”
With stakes this personal, their WrestleMania 41 clash is going to be anything but a technical classic—it’s personal war now.
Do you think Jey Uso stands a chance against this version of Gunther? Or is The Ring General simply too cold, too calculated, and too dangerous right now? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
