Chelsea Green Says “Goodbye for Now” After WWE Women’s US Title Loss
Chelsea Green was in for a major shock as she ended up losing the Women’s United States Championship to Zelina Vega during the April 25th edition of SmackDown. Following her loss, Chelsea Green has now revealed her next steps as well.
Chelsea Green went on Twitter to announce she is stepping away from WWE for now. She called her post a farewell address and shared a photo of the U.S. flag being lowered to symbolize the end of her time there, saying, “Goodbye for now @WWE This is my farewell address.”
This comes after Chelsea Green threw a temper tantrum following her Women’s United States Title loss and immediately demanded a recount for the loss, but it’s not known if she will even get a rematch anytime soon.
Chelsea Green has been a memorable part of WWE’s Women’s division since she’s always made everything she does turn to gold. While it’s unclear what she will do next, her loyal fans are sure to support her no matter what.
Therefore, we will have to wait and see when Chelsea Green will return to WWE television and what the company will have planned for her once she comes back, as fans feel she deserves a lot of focus.
