Absent WWE Star Makes In-Ring Comeback at Live Event After Two-Month Absence

The Celtic Warrior is back.

After missing in-ring action since the 2025 Royal Rumble, Sheamus officially returned to competition during WWE’s live event in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The former WWE Champion had been off TV since being eliminated from the Rumble by Roman Reigns, and fans were starting to wonder what was next for him—especially with WrestleMania 41 right around the corner.

Well, he’s back—and he didn’t take it easy for his return match either.

Sheamus squared off against Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker in a hard-hitting bout at the show. Despite the Irish crowd’s support, Breakker walked away with the win. Still, Sheamus’ return fired up the Belfast fans, especially considering it happened on his home turf.

The veteran powerhouse recently inked a new five-year deal with WWE, confirming he’s not planning on slowing down anytime soon. “It’s five more years of banger after banger,” Sheamus previously said after re-signing last year.

Although he has no confirmed match for WrestleMania 41 at this point, this return could signal a last-minute addition to the card—or at least prove Sheamus is once again ready for battle.

Would you like to see Sheamus get one last big WrestleMania moment this year? Or should WWE slow-build him into a post-Mania program? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
